Team and roles
Última actualización:
Everyone signs in as themselves, with a code sent to their email or phone. What they can do comes from the roles your organization gives them.
The three roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything for your organization, including your team, settings and integrations. |
| Staff | Day-to-day work: status, alerts, zones, seasons and registrations. Not the team or organization settings. |
| Status Controller | Only Status Control: close and reopen burning, post notices and schedule changes. |
Changes to burn status are recorded as taken on your organization's authority, with the person who made them.
Add someone
- Open Team. Only Admins can change it.
- Add their email address or mobile number and choose a role.
- They sign in with that email or number. No password is ever needed.
Change a person's role, or remove them, from the same list. Removing someone ends their access at once.
Access for another organization
Your organization can grant a role to a person or to another organization, for example a contractor who posts closures for you. A grant can have an end date, can be revoked at any time, and is recorded.
Regional access
A parent organization, such as a county over its fire districts, can have standing access to the organizations under it. It is on by default only where the organization under it has no admin of its own. An Admin can turn it off.
Several organizations
If you act for more than one organization, Status Control asks which one you are acting for.
